My Girlfriend’s Closet, Sonoma’s newest women’s fashion consignment boutique, has established a consignment account to benefit Sonoma Valley Hospital Foundation and its support of women’s health initiatives at Sonoma Valley Hospital, including mammography screening for uninsured and under-insured women.
“It’s an easy and effective way for women of our community to help ensure the health of all women in our Valley” says Fran Meininger, owner of My Girlfriend’s Closet. “By consigning high quality clothes and accessories that they no longer need, or have never worn, women can generate a revenue stream for the SV Hospital Foundation and this important program.”
The Sonoma Valley Hospital Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation that is dedicated to bringing health and well-being to the residents of Sonoma Valley through philanthropic and volunteer support for Sonoma Valley Hospital. Community support helps the Hospital in its mission to maintain, improve and restore the health of everyone in our community.
Since its founding in 1982, the SVH Foundation has raised more than six million dollars from individual donors, charitable foundations and corporations to enhance medical services, equipment and programs, and to help cover the Hospital’s cost of caring for patients who could otherwise not afford to pay.
